Elise R. James
Elise holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Maranatha Baptist Seminary. She previous served in lay ministry at The Seed Church in Wichita, Ks for 6 years as part of the church community, on the worship team, and as a Gospel Community group leader. She also helped create the audio content for a Women’s 30 Day Coaching through The Seed. Elise is committed to walking along side individuals in loving, relational, one-another community that builds up and edifies towards the experiential knowledge of God and a personal, spiritual growth.
Previously, Elise worked as a case manager with a mental health counseling center, as a Street Outreach Parenting Coach with homeless and at risk youth, and has now served at WSU Tech for the over 5 years where currently she serves as the Alternative Talent Project Lead, working with previously incarcerated individuals, and building community awareness and partnerships to support individuals who are currently or previously incarcerated.
Elise is currently writing on Singleness and the challenges that Christian singles face within life, community, and the church, as well as articles related to daily life struggles.
